ABOUT ELEVATE
Elevate Training & Support Services was founded by Charmaine Boyd, a qualified Trainer & Assessor and Health & Safety professional with experience across workplace training, health and safety, policing, forensic investigation and operational environments.
The idea behind Elevate is simple: workplace training should be practical, relevant and designed around the people who actually need to use it.
Training shouldn’t just tick a box. It should help people understand what they need to know and apply it confidently at work.

My career hasn’t followed one straight path - and that’s become one of the strengths behind Elevate.
I’ve worked across frontline policing, workplace training and adult education, forensic investigation, health and safety, infrastructure, utilities and professional services. Those environments were very different, but they repeatedly showed me the same thing: people need more than information to perform well. They need clear expectations, relevant learning and practical tools they can apply in the real world.
As a police trainer, I saw the value of learning that prepares people for situations they will actually face. In health and safety, I saw how easily training can become something people complete rather than something they genuinely engage with. Through investigation and operational roles, I learned the importance of asking the right questions, understanding what is really happening and not simply accepting what’s written on paper.
Elevate brings those lessons together.
The goal isn’t to make training more complicated. It’s to understand what’s needed, make it relevant to the workplace and develop practical learning people can actually use.
